Summary of Findings of the Materials
The artifacts that were found with the Elling woman paint a clear picture into her life and surrounding circumstances, also about the era she lived in. We can confidently say that metalwork was a integral part of society. We can also confidently say that there was a high religious sense within the community. It is evident that there was a trade in both metal but more specifically cloth making. It is most likely that Elling woman was sacrificed, evident through the rope, and that she was someone of value - her clothes and hair tell us this.
